Juneau Lake Back Pack

In late September a group of us went backpacking along the Resrrection Trail out of Cooper Landing for about 6 miles to Juneau Lake Cabin on Juneau Lake.  We were fortunate enough to have perfect dry and warm weather for the entire weekend.  Also we had beautiful autumn colors. The cabin comes with a canoe which we were sure to use.  Great group, awesome trip.

Rainbow Peak Day Hike

In mid September (Sept 19th) immediately after returning from my visit to Cape Cod, Deb and I did a day hike and climbed Rainbow Peak.   Here are some pics from that day

First Day of skiing Today At Turnagain Pass

Here are some “Powder” shots from earlier today at Tin Can.  Awesome kickoff day for the ski season.

Cape Cod Part 2

Here are some photos from one of the few wins the Red Sox had in September.  We wtched history happen as Tim  Wakefield won his 200th game.  Credit goes to my Bro Todd for having a co-worker with seasons tickets to 11th row seats just behind the visitors dug out.  Deb and I spent the night in the North End (right next door to Paul Reveres house) after the ball game.  Next day Deb returned to AK while I toured parts of Boston, then did more Cape stuff.
